LOCATION: LLAURÍ (VALENCIA)
Preliminary draft of Rural House not shared with its owners or users of ‘categoría superior’.
Due to the origin of the village, clearly Arabian, it is aimed with this intervention to recover elements from the history of that times, where Moorish architecture dominated.
The main entrace of the house is through an entrance hall or Mandarah, as a reception room of the house. After this, we enter into private rooms of the house located around a small courtyard with a fountain in the centre.
Immediately after the hall there is a living room with a small bathroom on the left, and the dining room and the kitchen on the right side.
In the first floor there are the most private areas with two double and two single rooms, all of them with windows on the main façade of the house, a living-room/library, a bathroom and a small toilet. From this level you can access to the crossable roof as a relax and meditation space with beautiful view of Corbera mountains and Sant Sofí.
